I really couldn't find anything wrong with this hotel. It was immaculate and opulent, so I'm sure it would be a fine place to stay if I had the money. But it does seem a little too out of my price range. That wouldn't matter for many people, so they're the ones I recommend looking into it. The area of town is very nice, and there is plenty to keep you busy if you should find yourself wandering out of the hotel. The in-home restaurant is very nice, and it has a nice view of that particular part of town. The bar is also on-par with the quality of the place, though it was hard to tell if it was open because it was so dark (which is exactly the way people like it, I'm sure). The staff was courteous and attentive, and I felt welcome as soon as I set foot in the door. I'd definitely stay there, assuming I had a good reason.

Internet is expensive and slow. TV's don't allow you to change the source. No massage services.

Nestled in the heart of Oak Lawn, the historic Warwick Melrose Hotel is lovely with European elegance, step into the lobby and you’ll see some great pieces and be offered pineapple lemonade before the friendly staff assists you. Though a renovation refurbished and restored the hotel to its original splendor, the hotel also has plenty of amenities that I really appreciated like power port outlets with high speed internet, 37 inch flat screen tvs and ipod docking stations, it’s nice to be able to appreciate history without giving up modern day luxuries and amenities. The restaurant has been awarded AAA Four Diamonds and afterwards you’ll want to spend time in the sophisticated Library Bar where you’ll find live music by the piano, I recommend going on a Saturday night because that’s when Aubree Anna performs and she’s incredible.
