When I come to Edmonton on business, I either stay here or in Sherwood Park. This is a nice Westin, with large comfortable rooms, flat screen TVs, good internet services, and a nice lounge downstairs.
I'd give this place 4 stars, if it wasn't for it's location. In fairness, downtown Edmonton has come a long way, but it's still a little rough in spots. I end up taking long walks to various places including: Alberta Crafts Council, Aubrey's books, the downtown mall, Tim Horton's, the Hotel MacDonald, and down into the Saskatchewan River Valley. As far as nice places to eat and interesting attractions, a cab ride is still necessary.Recommended for:
