It's a straight shot down Century from here to LAX, so it's a great place to stay if you're catching a flight the next day. They offer free shuttles if you don't have a car. The hotel is very nice and has a certain grandeur to it, yet it's not too pricey. The lobby is large and decorated with marble.
The rooms were a nice size and the bedding was super comfortable! I mean, this was something I considered looking into getting. It was seriously that nice - no wonder they called it their Heavenly Bed. Internet access costs something like $15 per day and parking costs $25 for self parking or $35 for valet. If it weren't for the extra costs, this place would probably be a perfect 5.
If you just need airport parking while you're away, they also offer that option in their parking lot, for $16/day.

Stayed here several times when needing to overnight near LAX. Rooms are clean, though somehow everytime I stay here, I manage to get a room so far from the elevator and have to lug my bags on what seems like a journey. And yes I do it myself because I'm capable and save on tipping someone else to do it. :)
Nice lobby, checking in is always easy, and there's a restaurant in the hotel which was convenient as I was able to grab an early 6:30AM breakfast before heading out.

This is a good option for someone wanting to stay near the airport.
The rooms with the Heavenly Beads are great and the room amenities are good.
It isnt fancy in fact a business mans hotel is what it reminds me of but the service is good.
The bars and restaurants have something for everybody.Recommended for:

Hotel was clean, decor was simple, elegant and classy.. not too much not too little. Bed was absolutely comfortable. Bathroom was clean with good mini products (shampoo, conditioner, soap). Towels were soft. Service was quick and professional!

The hotel itself isn't that bad but you get what you pay for. We booked the deluxe king room, and it was just like a regular room. One thing nice was the rainfall shower. The wifi was terrible, we were at the 10th floor and we could barely get the wifi signal. One of the main reason why we stayed here was because we were traveling with our dog and it's one of the few hotels that doesn't charge extra for pets. One note, even though the LAX is close by, I couldn't hear the airplanes from my room.
The staff rarely greets you, they didn't look very happy. The lobby was nice but the decor everywhere else is outdated.
Now for the area, unfortunately, it's located in a not so great area in LA. The view from my room wasn't very pleasant, the only thing cool about was that we could watch the airplanes. If you are spending some time in LA, beware that this hotel is far from most tourist attractions.
I would recommend the Westin LAX if you are in transit since it's conveniently located close to LAX.
Lastly, don't forget that the parking is $25 per night quite expensive, I think.

As Westin's go, this one is a little below average. It has been around awhile, but has been spruced up in the typical Westin style of neutral colors between black and slate, with large lobbies with different textures.
Their is full service, i.e. valet, room service, etc. The parking is in the back for self park, and connects directly into the hotel with a separate elevator system.
The rooms are nothing special, a typical hotel room of this price and quality.
This Westin is the closest to the 405 freeway of all the major hotels on Century Boulevard, which include all major chains.
Typically, the Westin has rack rates in the $200 range, depending on season and events. You can get larger group rates as low as $100 for in-hotel conventions with a lot of rooms and meeting rooms booked.
The main bar when I was there was under staffed, no cocktail waitress and the bartenders that were working seemed more interested in flirting with women than pouring drinks and ringing up sales.

he Westin Hotel LAX is a very clean and professionally maintained hotel. The vibe here is great. They have all the amenities; a swimming pool, nice gym for working out and its blocks away from LAX. - 3 min. from the 405 freeway. This is a wonderful place or conventions are or having business meetings if you just need a place in Los Angeles for that purpose. But, if you're looking to do some tourist stuff then this is not the hotel to stay in. You are far away from all the destinations that Los Angeles is known for. Also, the area can get very congested with traffic taking away from time spent touring this wonderful city. If you and the family are looking to take in the sites then look for something closer to downtown or mid-cityRecommended for:

The Heavenly Beds are what the Westins are known for, and I have to admit I've never slept on a more comfortable bed. They sell them apparently, they're that comfortable. The other amenities of the hotel are nice also, and there is good service here. Neighborhood isn't too scenic, very close to the airport though, and they've got a free shuttle bus if you're traveling to the airport for a flight. They also give you apples sometimes at check in.

This Westin offers a fantastic stay for transit travelers. The king room is elegant, modern and has one of the most comfortable beds in the industry. The service is outstanding. The restaurant, "The Grill', offers great stakes, pastas, salads along with a good selection of wine. The complimentary LAX shuttle arrives every 15mins or so. Parking and internet are certainly overvalued.
