I am a huge fan of hotels in the Starwood family, and the Westin Towers in Seattle are beautiful. As long as you are a few floors off of the ground you will see some of the beautiful northwestern harbor view out of your large room windows. It is walking distance to everything touristy, being that it's on 5th Ave. ...

One of the great things about Seattle... the Flagship Nordstrom store. The buyers do an excellent job of sourcing great items from clothes, shoes and even a small housewares section. The store is organized into departments to fit your style and price point. Then finish up your day of shopping at the Nordstrom Cafe on the top floor.

A good place to get out of the rain. Retail is a good mix of clothing and other items plus high mixed with less expensive chains. Large theaters up top and there are restaurants, but not really any place to just grab a quick easy bite in between stores.

In 2007, Stuart Townshend filmed a re-enactment of the 1999 World Trade Conference demonstrations that devolved into riots. The event was later dubbed The Battle in Seattle, providing Townshend his movie's title. He filmed in on location in downtown Seattle, but perhaps the most iconic spot is Westlake Park, a busy urban park in the heart of the city. Westlake ...

I am only giving this H&M 5 stars because it is about the first H&M I've entered into where I found clothes of my size that I wanted to buy! This H&M is awesome because of its enormous collection of clothes and abundant supply of small sizes that are normally not available in my local H&M stores. I think besides ...

A sale at this store is still very expensive. I love Nordstroms though, Not only bc they treat their employees VERY well....but, they treat costumers great also. If you buy something,,,and a ear later it is broken....take it back...Nordstroms doesn't like to sell crap and they want the customer happy. I just hope ppl wont take advantage of it and ...

Just uphill from the Pike Place Market, climb on up to Macy's! It's just a few blocks away! Pick up some wonderful dresses. Walk up just about two blocks on Pine Street through Westlake Center to Nordstroms and hop on the Monorail to Seattle Center! Such fun! Make a day of it! http://www.seattlemonorail.com/about/#route

Biggest and best Nordstrom Rack I've ever seen. I could spend the whole day there! What a dream... I'm thinking about moving to Seattle just because of this store hahaha.. The Seafair Festival is a series of events that kick off the last week of June and carry on throughout August. Among the signature events are concerts, a food festival, a marathon road race, torchlight parade, airshow and maritime celebration. It creates a consistent buzz of activity throughout the city during the summer and is definitely something to put on ...

A lot of Seattleites like to see the year's big “event” movies at one of the chain multiplexes, but the Cinerama in Belltown has those places beat, hands down. The screen there is gigantic and the sound system is a beast. The concession stand is also a cut above the boring candy of the mall theaters. They stock locally produced ...

This is a newer store in Downtown Seattle. It is the old Old Navy building across from Pacific Place. It has three levels and is huge! Great place to shop at if you are on a budget cause their prices are affordable. It is more on the younger generation however older people can shop their too. I love their accessories!

You know, it's interesting how most reviews are single-serve experiences where people make snap judgements about the place based on what happened to them that day and they never step into the location again. There's no sense of history or research or loyalty or even interaction which is theoretically balanced out by all the other reviews, but typically those come ...

Despite the almost constant maddening throngs of tourists all posing for photos outside the original Starbucks in the center of it all, loudly proclaiming how much they love PIKES PLACE (please note it's Pike Place, not Pikes) - this market is a must-see. There is much more to it than meets the eye. For a real taste of the market, ...
