Tucked up a side street this is a fabulous opportunity to get away from the hubub of the tourist trail and have the opportunity to learn about and purchase beautiful handmade textiles. The focus here is on saving and sustaining traditional textile techniques, the money goes back to the co-op or person who created it. You get information about what it was traditionally used for, how it was made. The staff is very hands off but eager to share thier extensive knowledge. There are videos to watch and learn how remote some of the villages are and how amazing the journey to your hands. Reasonable prices for truely amazing works of art.
