Three Twins Ice Cream

254 Fillmore St, San Francisco, CA, United States
2 reviews

I stopped at Three Twins Ice Cream today on the way back to the car after an afternoon conversation with a fellow employee at Toronado. Ice Cream doesn't cancel alcohol, but my one scoop dish of chocolate coffee crunch was pretty delicious and a nice contrast to Imperial IPA.

The best cafe at Haight and Fillmore, hands down. The interior is lovely, the coffee is good, the pastries look heavenly and the staff are friendly. Very French!

Classy Italian joint in the middle of the grungy Haight. Nice interior decor and ambience and delightful food. One main is easy to split with your dining partner if looking for a light meal. Pasta with eggplant a solid choice.

Delicious seasonal, local cuisine and creative bartenders. My friend and I got the duck sliders, crab and avocado salad, the broccolini pasta, and lemon chiffon cake for desert. Lots of small plates to share meant a full belly. Maven is also located in a great neighborhood too - Lower Haight = lots of places for an after dinner drink too!

I used to live around the corner from this place, and I loved it. Is it the very best burrito in SF? No, but it is very good. The burritos are big and the salsas are tasty. My roommates loved the carnitas but I was happy with the veggie burrito with guacamole.

Their ice-cream is amazing! My favorites are the salted caramel and honey lavender. They used to have a special called Sam's Sundae but it's been unavailable for a few months now. Whenever they bring it back, be sure to try it. There's a long line usually, but it moves pretty fast.

One of the best bakeries in the World (rivals anything in Paris) but the line out the door is often crazy long. Go early.

This place has a very Californian feel. Great, airy atmosphere, very buzzy, with high-quality 'modern-rustic' food. A teeny bit hipster, but in a good way. A place for both regulars and newbies, I think.

Still has the biker bar vibe, but now full of hipsters drinking pitchers of beer on the picnic tables outside on sunny days. They also grill some mean burgers.

Creative - fun- delicious, innovative. Done Right. Brenda's has it down. Open from breakfast to late night dining - they know their stuff. Chicken etouffee - moist, rice-y...hearty and filling. Sweet potato dumplings and Garlic Shrimp Gratin - creative use of familiar ingredients - it works! BFC - Fried Chicken - to die for. Moist, well fried, and collard greens ...

Get the Kryptonite. Yes, it's huge and probably is over 4000 calories for a whole sandwich but if you go to Ike's and not get the Kryptonite, you'll be missing out on the whole experience. The Kryptonite has ham, salami, turkey, roast beef, corned beef, cheese, fried mozzarella sticks, jalapeno poppers, onion rings, pesto, avocado, and some veggies. The whole ...

I really liked that when we were told there was a 30 minute wait, they had us order in advance so that our pizza was ready right after our table was. We got the Little Star Pizza, with spinach, ricotta, feta, and mushrooms, and it was a great deep dish pizza!

Who says the Castro doesn't have nice things? Frances is one of the best restaurants in the city and its growing reputation is well-deserved. The beignets are crafted to perfection, I marveled at the chickpea-fries appetizer, and all of the entrées are beautifully presented and incredibly satisfying. My favorite is the bavette steak, which comes with a surprisingly tasty spelt ...

Great spot to have early evening cocktails and oysters. Prices are high here, so I don't go there often. But this fashionable restaurant is conveniently located near opera or symphony halls, as well as other theaters. Their hamburger is quite good and more affordable.

This is my all-time favorite restaurant! There are plenty of vegetarian options, which is a definite plus. The food is flavorful, fresh, and unique. This is my go-to place any time I have a reason to celebrate (especially if it's to celebrate a raise, as it's a pricey restaurant).

This place is the best. First time 'Californian' Mexican food for me, and after visiting this restaurant I know what I have missed all those years. Staff is very friendly and helpful in selecting your dishes. On top of that: this place looks modern and has a very nice atmosphere.
