Prepare for excellence in dinner and a fantastic view. The prices are high but when we have a special occasion that warrants it, this is where we want to go. Make reservations and ask for the window seat. You'll get the front row to the ocean as it crashes into the high rocks at Depoe Bay. Dinner plates can run around $24 though.

Tidal Raves has fresh seafood and a great ocean view from most tables. The ONLY reason I give it four instead of five stars is the service can be hit or miss during busy times. If you are there for an early or late lunch, or early or later dinner, you should be fine. Hint: If you like crab legs, they will bring a huge bowl of it (no shell if you like) to your table for around $25.

For a good meal and spectacular view, Tidal Raves is what we recommend. Make a reservation even if you are arriving in 15 minutes. Folks who make a reservation will have preference when it comes to a table by the window. We frequently see whales from here!
