Tigard is a west side bedroom community for Portland. My step-daughter lives on the Beaverton/Tigard border, while the Hotel I stayed is on the Tigard/Lake Oswego border. That means that in these parts, it all kind of runs together. I'm sure there are interesting things to be had here if you're a resident, but as a visitor, Tigard is just another town along the road.Recommended for:

Tigard is like a suburb mushed between Beaverton and Lake O. It's definitely something you pass through but might not even notice when you do. Also, because it's a main artery for a lot of roads, it's a pain to drive through at certain times.

Tigard is a suburb located outside of Portland, Oregon. It is mainly based on a long stretch of Hall Boulevard. There's an assortment of restaurants, but try not to come during rush hours. Traffic can get pretty bad in Tigard.
