This area seems great for RVs, but if you prefer a reclusive mountain getaway, this probably isn’t the spot for you. The chalets are cute and chic and have an awesome log cabin style, but they are practically stacked on top of each other giving it the feel of a suburban neighborhood rather than a resort. Tiger Run is, however, great for families with kids: it has a massive indoor pool, an arcade, and a playground perfect for some play time Each chalet is individually owned so it lacks the spot-on consistency of a hotel or company-run organization, but it gives a personal flair that you may not find at other accommodations. Many of these chalets have multiple bedrooms, gorgeous porches, and upstairs lofts. The views of the mountains are also fantastic, and both the Swan River and the Blue River rush through the property.

I loved the location of this spot. It is located between two rivers and just outside the city of Breckenridge.
You can bring an RV to Tiger Run or you can rent (or buy) a chalet. It seemed like it would be a nice vacation spot for families in the summer or the winter.
The ladies at the front desk said that they have lots of "community" activities here, especially in the summer. The chalets and RVs are packed in close together, and they have a clubhouse in the center of the property.
I liked the clubhouse; it had a very retro feeling to it. There was a lot of wood paneling, and a room with arcade games. They had a pool and a 2 hot tubs, as well as some exercise equipment.
I thought this would be a great spot for a low-maintenance family in the summer or the winter.Recommended for

This place is a bit crammed in there. The staff was mostly idiots during our 2 weeks there but the scenery cant be beat for an RV park in the area. It's also one of the only ones open year round in this part of Colorado. Right near town so everything was mostly good!

Tiger run has been the defacto RV park since the 70's. Over time, they've grown up with the valley that is now one of the prime worldwide four-season resort destinations. Tiger Run now hosts affixed "chalets" in addition to the RV's on site. Tiger run also started as THE place to go if one wanted to experience the Breck area surroundings on a snowmobile. This is still one of the best areas to get on a snow machine and just GO, so if this is a priority, then Tiger Run deserves a closer look.
RV-ing is a different sort of experience, as anyone who swears by it will attest. The whole psychology of being on wheels changes, well, it changes everything. Tiger Run has a great locatio that is situated about 2/3 of the way towards Breckenridge on bustling Colorado HWY 9. Although it's well concealed from the highway, it's certainly not a small property (see the picture of a clubhouse picture I took of the overview of the property in the summer) The centrally located clubhouse, with it's indoor heated pool, game room, laundry facilities, and meeting rooms (outdoor tennis, B-Ball an the like outside too in the warmer snowless months) has probably seen better days, but it's obvious the place is well-used as a gathering place.
All in all, Tiger Run fells more like a community than a destination resort. There are quite a few "micro-chalets" on the property that are either rentable or for sale.
