There really isn’t much to say about this hotel besides the fact that it is definitely a good budget option for young travelers or for a short business trip.
Other than that, it is pretty far out of the way, the décor is sterile and unremarkable, and the rooms are very basic. The prices are pretty good though.

This towering hotel is located just inside of the Paris city limits (a few steps North and you cross into the suburb of Clichy) and on a busy boulevard.
It has a large lobby and reception desk full of staff to check you in and answer any questions you may have. There is also a bar and a large buffet style restaurant serving food morning, afternoon and night, which is good because there aren’t many restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
Prices are under 100 Euros/night for a simple but comfortable room but I would personally prefer to stay in a budget hotel closer to central Paris so travelling to the main sights isn’t such a trek! If you are a business traveler or are arriving from the North by car to visit other parts of France then this hotel’s meeting rooms and parking lot are great features.

This is a big hotel complex in the outskirts of Paris in the 17th district and conveniently situated just across the metro/RER station Porte de Clichy. This neighborhood is not the most interesting, but features some restaurants and a supermarket. There was a big construction project right in front of the hotel, which doesn't give the best impression of the neighborhood.
The hotel is comfortable and clean, the staff was helpful and there is decent sized restaurant. I think it's suitable for business travellers, with their meeting rooms, and quick access to CDG airport.
It's very affordable and you can get great deals from here, but the downside is the long metro ride to central Paris, as there is not much to see in here.
It's an ok place for budget travellers, who just need a place to sleep.

We picked this hotel because 1. It's inexpensive for Paris and 2. It's right by the Metro and RER. While the hotel is reasonably clean and comfortable, the commute into town (20 minutes with a transfer or two, depending on where you're doing) is a little bit too long. There are some decent restaurants on the main street and there's a Carrefour supermarket about three blocks away, so it's quite convenient in that sense. I think next time maybe we'll pay a bit more and stick to something closer to town.

The hotel is located in Montmartre, northwest of most of the main attractions in Paris. However, if you can get a good deal (about $100 / night) on this hotel, it might be worth the additional metro/RER train rides each day. The room itself is nicely decorated with comfy beds and a safe, but the room is small with not too much room to walk around.
