True to its name, Tiny's is a small restaurant in TriBeCa that serves rustic American food. The space oozes with charm--exposed brick, quiet corner tables, and flickering candles. The food doesn't quite match the ambiance though.

This is a great restaurant/ bar where I sense that 95% of the crowd are Lost fans... you know the type that has worn a Dharma Initiative jumpsuit for the past 3 Halloweens. It can be very intimate and charming here, so bring a refreshingly chill date or friends. Order the Meatballs and Garlic Toast, Beet & Crispy Goat Cheese Salad and House Made Gnocchi... mmm!

I'm a big fan of Tiny's. This TriBeCa restaurant / bar was started by the same team that runs Smith & Mills. Like its predecessor, the food is excellent. The exposed brick and delicate lighting give the atmosphere a trendy but cozy feel.

Call ahead to reserve a table for dinner. If seats aren't available, you can usually walk-in and get a seat in the upstairs bar area. My favorite tables are in the back of the first floor.

Fun little spot downtown with a good after work crowd. Go for drinks at the bar or dinner.
