Experience Tlaquepaque, a trendy suburb of Guadalajara recognized for its local artistry. Peruse the vast selection of arts and crafts shops before a lovely dinner at a local restaurant.Recommended for:

Once an upscale suburb of Guadalajara, colonial Tlaquepaque now is home to many artists and boho B&Bs. Beyond having wonderful cobblestone pedestrian areas with lots of cafes and bistros, it's also known as one of the best places for boutique shopping, especially for home decor/interior design and jewelry. Spend an afternoon poking around town, have a margarita or two and consider how you'll get that 500-pound handcarved bed frame home.Recommended for:

Tlaquepaque is a suburb located in the southeast part of the city of Guadalajara. Tlaquepaque is known for it's arts, ceramics, and handcrafts. To me, it is the most beautiful part of Guadalajara.
