    Dormy Inn Tokyo Hacchobori

    Dormy Inn Tokyo Hacchobori

    2 reviews
Excellent! - 85% of guests recommend

The Dormy Inn in Hachobori is one of the few rare examples where they aesthetically get the east meets west fusion right. The hotel exterior seems to be more modern western architecture, but upon entering the some of the more traditional Japanese staples, such as the wood block tables and chairs and a few of the decorations start to become ...

    Hotel Fukudaya

    Hotel Fukudaya

    2 reviews
Very Good! - 82% of guests recommend

Hotel Fukuda is an interesting blend between old and new targeted more at young people. The hotel itself is traditionally built having a green garden walkway entrance and the inside is quite old school right down to having to remove your shoes before you enter. Yet just outside and a ten minute walk to Shibuya Station guests can partake in ...

    Shinjuku Washington Hotel

    Shinjuku Washington Hotel

    Class:
    2 reviews
Mediocre - 67% of guests recommend

One of the most affordable rooms in Shinjuki. The rooms aren't big, but that's nothing new to anyone traveling through Tokyo. Clean and comfortable, with full bathrooms and TV. For the price, you can't do better while staying in a "nice" hotel.

    Mercure Hotel Ginza Tokyo

    Mercure Hotel Ginza Tokyo

    Class:
    2 reviews
Very Good! - 83% of guests recommend

Ginza is well known for its trendy luxury shopping and fine dining and just as you would expect most hotel accommodations in the area are quite pricey as well, but the Mercure is an exception. While not exactly cheap, the French inspired hotel doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles, but does offer a clean, quiet hotel right in ...

    Tokyu Stay Shibuya Shin-minamiguchi

    Tokyu Stay Shibuya Shin-minamiguchi

    2 reviews
Excellent! - 86% of guests recommend

Great value in a convenient location. Like other Tokyu Stay properties, the rooms are basic but include in-room laundry and a kitchenette. One of the better hotel values out there. Breakfast-inclusive rates run at just above $100. Pretty amazing for Tokyo. At this location, breakfast is served at the Jonathan family restaurant next door. Again, not fancy but much better ...

    Tokyo Business Hotel

    Tokyo Business Hotel

    2 reviews
Fair - 72% of guests recommend

I stayed at the Tokyo Business Hotel during my stay in Tokyo. It was in a great location right in the heart of the city in Shinjuku not far from the station. I stayed there with a Japanese friend who went to college in Tokyo and she picked the hotel for its great location. It's a bit hidden on a ...

    Hotel Siesta

    Hotel Siesta

    2 reviews
Mediocre - 64% of guests recommend

Capsule hotels in Japan were originally conceived for business men travelling domestically in Japan and only staying in town short term. Siesta is a capsule hotel in that tradition and basically a cheap place to stay temporarily. The prices are really rock bottom. It’s 3,300 yen for a capsule (small coffin style room with only a bed and a TV) ...

    Grand Palace Hotel

    Grand Palace Hotel

    Class:
    3 reviews
Very Good! - 82% of guests recommend

We had chosen this hotel for its location, close to the train station (2 kilometers) and metro subway system (50 meters), which is the best way to go around in this very big city. Correct and friendly service. The rooms were rather big (certainly for Japanese standards), very clean (of course) and well equipped. I would go back here again.

    Suidobashi Grand Hotel

    Suidobashi Grand Hotel

    4 reviews
Fair - 71% of guests recommend

The outside of this hotel was so cool! There was a mini waterfall, and that place would be great to have a cup of coffee during summer. Though, hotel itself is great too. It's not that expensive (cheaper than the Tokyo Dome Hotel) and clean. Also, they have a restaurant if you need it. And there aren't really that many ...

    Sutton Place Hotel Ueno

    Class:

Good! - 76% of guests recommend

The hotel was great! Highly recommended! It was only the front desk which affected our ratings. Hope they could send this Senior chap who attended to us to some courses on customer service. He was rude, not friendly, the way he talked simply pissed us off. He ran the hotel as if we were the prisoners. We had a hard ...

Just 2 minutes walk to the JR station, very convenience. The twins room is a bit spacious comparing to many hotels in Japan.

Best Western Shinjuku ASTINA Hotel Tokyo

Best Western Shinjuku ASTINA Hotel Tokyo

    Class:
    2 reviews
Excellent! - 85% of guests recommend

Just on the edge of Kabukicho (one of Tokyo’s most infamous red light districts) past the glitzy hostess clubs and by all the smoky thugs in nice suits seems like a really odd place to put any accommodation that isn’t a love hotel. Astina certainly isn’t the only normal hotel on the same street, but it is one of the ...

    Hotel Villa Fontaine Hatchobori

    Class:

Very Good! - 82% of guests recommend

Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a hotel in central Tokyo with good access to some of the major train stations that also had plenty of features to help travelers relax after a hard day of sightseeing? The Hotel Villa Fontaine in Hachibori is one such place and its rates are at a fairly reasonable price that won’t totally ...

    JR 新宿駅 Shinj

    Capsule Hotel Asakusa Riverside

    Capsule Hotel Asakusa Riverside

    1 review
Mediocre - 66% of guests recommend

Maybe it was the fact that I had spent 10 days previous in subpar living spaces in India, but this place was REALLY enjoyable. The capsules felt like something out of a Space Odyssey or a fancy tour bus. Each capsule came with a small tv, reading light, mirror, and alarm clock with a small shelf to hold things. The ...
