All it's cracked up to be.
Big, hearty, delicious tacos, for...cheeeeeap!
They are so good. Try the breakfast options - by far the best bang for your buck.
Coffee is mediocre, but hey, it's a taco joint.

They've got tacos for Democrats and Republicans in the capital city. With multiple locations, this is one of the fastest-growing taco micro-chains in Austin. With politics aside, I side with the Democrat taco (shredded barbacoa beef). But they have something for everyone, including fried avocado. It's a pretty no frill place to eat, but the tacos are amazing.

First of all, tacos are large, not your small dinky taco like other places. The prices may seem high but quantity and quality delivers. Huge variety, great sauces and an assortment non traditional tacos with interesting ingredients and combinations to get you filled up

Love, love, love Torchy's downtown, and now there's even one on 620. This onetime taco stand is the best place to go if you want a quick, quality, inexpensive taco. Check out these homemade tacos: green chile pork, fried avocado, fried chicken, smoked beef brisket, scrambled egg with fried poblano chile and Jamaican jerk chicken.

Of all the restaurants in Austin, this is the one I miss the most. Tex Mex so good it shouldn't even be called that. It has transcended categories and become something all its own.

Torchy's tacos has expanded like crazy over the past couple of years with multiple locations all across Austin and just recently expanding to houston. The tacos have fun names like the Democrat and the Republican and have a great, interesting combination of flavors. They also have really tasty burritos if you want something heartier. The salsas are what i love best because they have a handful of different flavors. They are also pretty quick as long as the line isnt too long.

All things amazing in taco form reside at Torchy's. These tacos are AMAZING! We can't tell you anything else except, you must try them now! They real usually run you somewhere between $3-4 each, but one is all we ever really need.
