The city of Torres, in the northern coast of Rio Grande do Sul, is a great choice for a visit to the beaches of the mild climate of Brazil. Tourism is widely developed in the region and in has thrived. Cool young people as well as families come together to enjoy the most favorite tourist spots and beaches in Torres, where surf lovers are sure to catch good waves.

Torres is the most sophisticated summer destinations in the State attracting many out of state visitors.T he pleasant climate and the vastness of the white sand beaches assure that visitors return. The climate in Torres is divided into two very marked seasons. From October to April it is very hot and dry (24°c-36°c) and the rest of the year is cold and humid (8°c-20°c).
It is possible to find ocean, beaches, dunes, cliffs, Atlantic forest, river, lagoon, waterfalls and various species of fauna and flora – all on the same place. Torres is also one of the oldest municipalities in Rio Grande do Sul State.
