I first came here years back with a couple Roman friends. It's a very affordable, dependable little trattoria with food from the Marche (on Italy's east coast.) A Roman standby and a bit unique in its neighborhood (close to Piazza Vittorio, which has since become Rome's Chinatown.Recommended for:

One of those trattorie that's been around forever, and still does it well. Trattoria Monti serves food from the Marche, on Italy's Adriatic Coast, and does it with simple aplomb.Recommended for:

“Consistently good”, “authentic” fare from the Le Marche region, including “delicious” “homemade pastas”, makes this “small” trattoria “off the beaten track” in Trinitá dei Monti worth seeking out; assets also include a “friendly” staff (“take their advice on the best dishes of the day”) and, better still, “bargain prices.
