This hotel's outer appearance simply does not do the overall experience justice. From the outside, it looks like any other run-of-the-mill economy motel. Inside, however, it is positively charming. The guestrooms are furnished with high, comfortable beds, white linens, modern decor, and cozy sitting areas. The staff are down-to-earth and personable — so personable, in fact, that I got the impression the property may be family-owned. It's just a hunch, of course, but regardless, it made for a comfortable and upbeat experience. An additional plus is that the hotel shares a parking lot with a quirky souvenir and produce store — great for shopping and vacation photo ops.Recommended for:

Even though this hotel seems a bit old from the outside, I was surprised that the rooms were surprisingly large and clean. There was a small living area right when I walked in with a desk, couch and extra chair that were perfect for relaxing without laying in the beds. The TV was a bit old, but I appreciated the convenience of having a mini fridge and microwave despite this being a fairly inexpensive hotel. I think kids would enjoy the small playground area near the pool, the hot tub, or one of the books in the corner library of the lobby. There’s also a small gift shop inside in case you need to pick up a last minute souvenir.Recommended for:

Truly a diamond in the rough, Travelodge Suites is a good escape for families or those looking for an extended stay in Orlando. It has a very mom-and-pop feel to it, with unexpected perks like picnic tables, a big pool, two hot tubs, and even a playground. The rooms are very nice, with newly-acquired furniture from the Gaylord Palms - quite the hand-me-down! They also offer free shuttle service to the parks, complimentary breakfast, free WiFi, and guest laundry. This is great little spot for families to return to year after year and always feel at home.Recommended for:

I have stayed here twice. It’s a decent motel. We stayed here as it’s very close to the ‘Islands of adventure’ and the ‘Water park’. They provide decent breakfast as well. Since Florida is all about the beaches and the theme parks (in Orlando), this serves the purpose by being economical.
Recreational amenities include a spa tub. A complimentary continental breakfast is served daily. Guest parking is complimentary. Additional property amenities include an arcade/game room, multilingual staff, and laundry facilities.
Televisions have cable channels. Rooms also include air conditioning.
