I think it's funny when a hotel needs to rebrand from Treasure Island to TI to make themselves more hip. Although, I'm not really sure if it worked. I for one, have never visited since they rebranded.
We used to go there when we were younger for their kids gaming areas, but it's a really small space, so we usually head to Circus Circus or Excalibur instead. Now, well, not sure if there's a reason to visit given all the other new hotness... maybe in search for cheaper table minimum?

Love love LOVE the beds here at Treasure Island and for the price you pay it's actually one of the best places mid-strip for convenient access to everything you want and more. If I decided not to ball out on a trip to Vegas this and Paris would be my two places that I would love to stay. The hotel itself is classy but has a nice atmosphere that's half themed, half not. The pirates show in the front is a nice little touch about five times a night and the casino is quite a happening place despite the fact that when I was here I did not find any $5 tables ... although the economy may have changed that recently.
The rooms have sort of a grey-ish theme to them and the beds are so comfortable you never want to get out of them. They're decently sized and the view is okay for the price you pay. The showers are wonderful and everything about the room and the service is just pleasant. It really gives you a nice escape from the busy bustle of Las Vegas but puts you right back there down the elevator if you need another whiff.
I am especially a huge fan of their 24/7 cafe because they serve the best fried chicken! I know this is so weird but I actually crave their spicy chicken wings when I go because they make them unique without any sauce and they're spicy and delicious! Definitely was very happy with my stay here.

Is it me, or was someone's decision to make the outdoor pirate battle (performed a few times daily) sexy a bad idea? I liked it better when the show was more Robinson family-esque than the current sirens...and I'm definitely not old fashion. But this used to be a place where you could take your kids to watch the pirate show. Now all the kids have left is circus circus.
