You will see that there are many types of architecture represented on this street, because each house had to be built specifically as each resident desired: Spanish, Georgian, Prairie, and many more. The residents here are some of the most distinguished in the city: founder of Neiman-Marcus, a US senator, and many of the Munger family who originally developed this prestigious area.

McCasland Sunken Garden feels like you’ve stepped out the back door of an Italian estate. The Fern Dell has a deliciously spooky feel to it in the misty morning, with a cozy bench near the upper pond. Bring a book and take a moment for yourself in this spectacular garden.
