I stayed here during a rainy Lake George holiday in 2006. The hotel, however, was comfortable enough that girlfriend and I were able to relax and have fun. Our hotel room was spacious and clean. The ... read more
swimming pool was a little cold (but, again, it rained all weekend). You can catch a glimpse of the lake and the mountains when it's clear. I think my favorite part of staying here was the country breakfast served daily in the lodge restaurant.

Väldigt trevligt hotel längs vägen. Bodde på rum 249 för en rimlig slant. Många barn som gör att poolupplevelsen får lägre betyg.

A nice little train station. The architectural style looks nice. Location is convenient , at the intersection of two major roads and near the beach. However, few trains stop at this location.

Amazing. Their carnitas are so juicy and the carne asada is full of flavor. This is real authentic Mexican food! No shredded cheese anywhere, yes!

and the waterfront. Parking was difficult and driving in Palermo something of a nightmare but we did put out rental car in a local garage for the duration of our stay and it was not the worse for wear. Our suite was oddly designed with a lower level on which there was the bathroom and dressers. The bedroom is located in a loft, which is reached by a wrought iron spiral staircase. Our room was painted a pale peach color and in the afternoon enjoyed good shade provided by handsome white curtains. After flying from Istanbul and connecting in Rome my wife and I were very fatigued so I'm happy to report that the beds are exceedingly comfortable. Breakfast at Hotel del Centro is a continental affair of meats, cheeses, fruit and croissants. The bar will fix you as many cappucinos or espressos as you want, which is a real plus. I think the biggest downside of our stay was that we had to pay for internet access and the signal was really only available in the common areas. For the price of our room, however, that's only a minor complaint.
