Grant Park has undergone an incredible transformation over the last 10 years. The combination of greenery and art installations makes it one of the most impressive urban parks in North America.

grabbing a bite from one of the food stands and sitting at the tables while listening to live music. One of my favorite vendors: a man who sells a large to-go box full of organic sunflower greens for $6. That may seem pricey, but trust me, it’s worth it.

beautiful cases full of desserts and gelato that’s unlike anything I’ve ever had. You can also get a pot of tea to share with a friend, complete with an adorable silver three-tier tray with pastries and sandwiches. There are plenty of tables inside and outside, plus there are a few couches if you’re looking to get cozy with your cup of tea.

cucumber mint water—both of which tasted divine in the heat on a Saturday afternoon. I was definitely impressed by the variety of options (you can’t go wrong with the Say Queso), and the waiter even brought extra homemade pickles since I was sharing with my mother. Fresh is a lovely place to enjoy an afternoon bite on a quaint little street in Winter Park.

specific menu items are organic or not. There’s no indoor seating, which can be daunting in the Florida heat, but they have large umbrellas over all of the tables, and delicious juices to keep you refreshed.
