A steady stream of tourists rolls through town each year. My family moved here during the "fat Elvis" period. At that time there were 300,000 residents, land was cheap and the mob ran things. Now ... read more
there are over 1,000,000 residents, and the corporations run things. The city nearly fills the valley, the old is replaced by new. There's a lot of fun to be had here, whether you're a gambler, shopper or resident. Lake Mead, Red Rock Canyon, Mt. Charleston and Valley of Fire offer natural wonders as well. Enjoy.

along, the view of this place is AH-MAZING. Pretty much it's to die for. We came here for weekend brunch and the weekend brunch was a buffet with unlimited mimosas. bloody marys (mixed very well), and coffee served in a cute English coffee up (espresso, black coffee served on the side a rock of white sugar or brown, cappacino, latte) . $75 a person is quite steep, BUT the quality of the food, drinks and service deserved that price. Wait until you see that view. As we drove to the front of the place, we got our car complimentary valet, checked in with the hostess with our reservation made in a week in advance (best to make a reservation in case). We were able to choose to sit by the ocean view and our waiter sure kept our mimosas flowing. The buffet was lovely. They have a section for make-your-own-omelette, make-your-own-crepe, meat section, seafood {oysters raw, crab claw meat, sushi (raw sashimi, including uni!)}, pasta bar (yes, they have seafood for you to make seafood pasta!), salad and fruits! I felt like I was having a Vegas buffet, but WAY better and WAY closer and that view! My goodness, that view made me fell in looove. I would not recommend you go try if you are trying to keep a budget or think that you'll waste your $. Just to let you know my experience, it was well worth it. Everything was freshly made, freshly prepped (sushi, raw sushi) as others eat them away. Chefs at the buffet are super friendly and polite. I don't see anything wrong with this place. Will definitely try this place again, with another celebration in the future. **Recommend for romantic dates, anniversary celebrations, big birthday celebration (elderly birthdays)

Been walking past this place a few times already. Finally got the chance to try it out! WOOHOO! A well spent $35 bottomless small plates of food and booze brunch, how can you say no to this? Weekend ... read more
brunch only occurs Saturday and Sunday from 11pm to 3pm. There's a two hour limit, however, no problemo because the food and drinks came out in a jiffy! Thank to Jones, he did a terrific job in refilling us up on our drinks and taking our order. Gave us both a WOW and a good happy buzz. Their fried rice was pretty good. Try that as well! Whether you decide to sit at the patio or indoors, there will be DJ music playing. So bring some girlfriends or your love ones and have a lovely brunch because you beautiful people deserve some fun time!

Can you say freshest air ever?! Throughour the whole trip with my boyfriend, he thought we were mainly going to the south rim, where all the tourist are. Who knew we would end up at the north instead? ... read more
I never been to the grand canyon before, so I wouldn't know how we ended up at the North rim. Thanks to the GPS, this was a fun experience!North rim known for family trip, honeymoon or a get away thing. Their lodge are booked in a year advance, and we lucked out and got one of the last 3 rooms they had which were from cancellation throughout the day. The north rim is very quite, enjoyable and peaceful. Only thing you won't like is that there is no phone service, not unless you drive back out a mile to use your phone. They have a gorgerous view, with long chairs for you to sit to either enjoy a beer or a cocktail. The whole place is like a couples therapy getting away trip. Noone can bother you and you can just wake up to quietness. Their lodges have fridge, soap, shampoo, hairdryer, and a heater. The north rim can get really cold during the winter or spring, so make sure to bring a coat. There's no TV so don't expect that because there's no signal up there. Parking is free and if you like to use internet or have WiFi, they do have a shop that's a mile out for you to use. They have a resturant here, a little saloon bar/ coffee shop, gift shop and a deli shop if hungry. overall experience, loved it! Worth the drive!
