Parliament House is known around Orlando as THE LGBT nightspot. The resort hosts a variety of bar areas, a disco, a pool with an outdoor stage, and a newly-renovated theater. With weekly burlesque ... read more
shows and a bar called "The Bear Den," Parliament is an obvious LGBT sanctuary, though anyone is of course welcome. The resort indeed feels a bit run-down, but the personal TLC and overall homemade vibe compensates for a lack of recent updates. Without a doubt, the best part is the warmth radiating from the guests and staff. Wherever I walked on the property, I was greeted with a smile or invited to take part in this or that conversation. To further verify the staff's commitment to a family-like atmosphere, there is a "no photos of guests" policy. This is because, as I was told by a friendly employee, "some guests haven't come out to their families, and it's not up to us to out anyone. We just want everyone to feel safe and comfortable."

This hotel was built over 50 years ago, so it bought a big chunk of land to build on, which is now rare and prime real estate in downtown Atlanta. As a result, this is a spacious hotel. The lobby is ... read more
open and very large, main hallways are roomy and bright, and the pool area has plenty of space for chairs. The thing that I like the most about this hotel has got to be the huge fitness center. The machines are newer and each has an individual tv screen (anything to keep my interest during cardio!) As a matter of fact, the common areas all appear to be fairly renovated and attractive. Be prepared to pay for parking and wifi. The restaurant and bar seemed very attractive, and the hotel is also right in the middle of a long list of things to do right in downtown.

I've seen in hotels, too! Free internet is available in room. This hotel has a bright breakfast area where you can sit down for a complimentary and well stocked breakfast every morning. There's also a cafe/bar that is super convenient and quick. This location has a pool and patio, and a decent workout room, both stocked with towels. The location is a huge perk, free parking in this area is rare and you can walk to any type of attraction you'd need- great food, bars, shopping, you name it. Try to stay on a higher floor though if you're noise sensitive!

There's also a cafe/bar that is super convenient and quick. This location has a beautiful pool and patio with umbrellas and tables, and a decent workout room with more than one treadmill and fresh towels. The city of Alpharetta is fairly well to do and has a good bit of industrial corporate offices, and this is central to the best of it, and decent activities at night as far as food choices, shopping, and movie theater nearby. The best thing this hotel has to offer is by far, hands down, the shuttle to the local concert venue... everything else may be economy, but that one little thing is such a luxury!

neighborhood, Santiago’s most important party area. However the place is not perfect. As every hostel, it is not the cleanest or most organized place to stay. The staff was really friendly though, which is always a plus. The décor was mindblowing: the outside of the hostel is painted beautifully, so if you like street art, this is your place. The dorm where only girls could stay was nice. The lobby had a fun atmosphere and you can tell people can really chill here and get ready for a night of drinking or going out.

Once you enter to airport proceed straight to your gate & wait.. eat & drink there. The process. Then proceed to next counter, manned by 4 people to pay 200000 (cash) tax to exit. Proceed to next counter where 1 person scans your exit sticker, then lineup or jump the queue to go through the baggage scanners. Then lineup to go through customs. There are bottle necks at every point...Through to duty free. Expensive. There is a food hall & a place to charge your electronics. Food & drink is expensive & ordinary. When you find out your gate number, lineup for another bag check and items can still be taken from you. There is a person sitting on the floor who has your duty free. Then you board a bus & sit on the tarmac until it's full then off to the plane...

This hotel is about as downtown as it gets. I'm reminded of the vintage LA hotel that I stayed in once, and the small independent hotel fronts of New York. It's gritty, but that gives it character. ... read more
This place is not the most fashionable, but it is clean. It is likely the most affordable accommodation in this pricey area of town. You are getting what you pay for, but there's something to be said about the fact that this hotel is still so original and true to itself and unashamed, when so many other hotels have changed hands a dozen times in the same lifetime. This hotel puts you right in a fun part of town and you will enjoy being steps away from the best attractions in Atlanta. Continental breakfasts are available and complimentary. There's a baby grand piano in the lobby, so I bet there is some sort of entertainment every once in a while!
