your life around it. As in "No honey, I always go 7 blocks out of the way when I walk home!" Their smoothies and juices are ridiculously good, and they are excellent at handling food allergies. My favourite is the Bean Totally smoothie - chocolate, coconut oil, coffee, hempseed, banana, and all kinds of goodness. In other words, DON'T come to the Bean. He's all mine.

My first visit I ordered a modified "Sunset Peach". I added pineapple, and opted for no sugar. (I don't know why fresh fruit smoothies would ever need sugar added, in my opinion). Anyway, the location ... read more
is close to Mission Valley, parking was ample and there were a few people in front of me during the lunch hour. I did not have to wait more than 5 minutes though, awesome! The smoothie is delicious, as mentioned they allow substitutions and the fruit is fresh (except for the raspberries which are frozen, kind of a bummer since I'm a raspberry lover). It's okay though, because they have so many other options to choose from. Very affordable at $3.75 for a LARGE! However, I am not sure if they offer many juice options. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this place, you're supporting a local business, friendly staff and it's REALLY tasty!
