I've stayed at the Tropicana several times. I really love the Cuban themed decor through out the malls of the casino. They have a chic club called Club Providence, it's nice but the clubs in Atlantic City sometimes take themselves a bit too seriously.

I absolutely love the Trop and my friends always make fun of me for it. I don't know why. The rooms are nice, there are great food options in the Quarter and cheap food options off the boardwalk, and the casino is perfectly acceptable. OK, so it feels a bit ratty back by the blackjack tables and the poker room could use some updating, but overall I think it's a great place to stay.

Anytime I visit Atlantic City I make sure I pay a visit to the Tropicana, whether to take in a movie at the Imax movie theater, get a bite to eat at one of their many restaurants, take in a show at the Comedy Stop, or maybe even a night out at one of the nightclubs. My favorite nightclub at the Tropicana is Providence, I had been to the one in New York City and had a great time, and this location was no different. My other favorite spot at the Tropicana has to be the Comedy Stop. You can usually find a coupon in one of the local free Atlantic City newspapers. During the week there's 1 show at 9PM, but on Friday and Saturday there's also a 11:15PM show.

The best selection of bars and restaurants in one property in all of Atlantic City, there's something here for everyone. The Quarter at the Tropicana, a Havana themed 2 story area housing restaurants, nightclubs, and stores is where all the action happens. For restaurants there's Cuba Libre,P.F. Chang's, Carmines for Italian, the Palm for steak, and RiRia which is a great Irish bar and a more casual dining experience and usually has live bands on the weekends. After dinner, we went to Planet Rose for some drinks and karaoke, the only karaoke bar in all of Atlantic City, though none of my group was brave enough to perform. Boogie Nights starts around 11PM and is the ultimate 70s and 80s themed dance club, with most people coming in costume. A great way to spend a rainy day is to take in a movie at the Imax theater at the Tropicana, though my movie ticket was $15 bucks it was quite the experience watching a 3D movie on a screen over 5 stories high.

This is best casino in Atlantic City, because of its staff and employees. Its not the newest casino in the City but it has all the things to do. Roxanne is the Best Player Director that you find anywhere. Lots of things to do thur out. Great places to eat at all levels. The Casino offers all of the table games you could want. In all most all cases the staff is wanting to please you. A Great Hotel and Casino at any time of the year. A must go to place to see.
