If you want to think about near Croatia this place is worth considering. Not a lot to do here but relax and Lake Bled has easy train access.

You need to consider that getting to one of the islands takes a little bit of time & effort. This city is not a very big tourist location so might fit your need as it was not that busy. It has good train and plane access.
