Kid-friendly (during the day) and pet-friendly (all the time), this is a unique experience for people who want to enjoy each other's company in a laid back environment. It's a bar with a large patio and an even larger outdoor area filled with random chairs and seating areas. At certain times of night food trucks will pull up and line the exterior of the place. My favorite is Easy Slider which has some of the most randomly awesome tiny burgers with flavors you've probably never considered. If the weather is nice, then the literal and figurative atmospheres in perfect alignment, and you can expect to have a great time at a completely affordable price.Recommended for:

A piece of Austin in Dallas. Located in lower Greenville, Truck Yard is a large open outdoor area to enjoy live music, beer and food in a very casual environment.Recommended for:

The front of this place is quite deceiving. When you enter into the back area of the small shack-like restaurant, you see that there is enough space in the ‘backyard’ to comfortably, and sometimes uncomfortably, fit hundreds of people and a live band. Every night there are 2-4 food trucks parked along the edges of the crowd. The food trucks serve sliders, Greek, Cajun, BBQ; you name it, it’s here. On top of that, there’s a long line for Philly Cheesesteaks inside the open-air restaurant (veggie options available). You feel like you really are at a BBQ with 200 of your favorite strangers. Try Mondays for a more chill crowd.Recommended for:
