Rebuilt in 1934, this Buddhist temple is much more modern than many that you find in Japan. In active use with services for the community. One of the only times I've seen Japanese devotees actually praying and chanting at a service.
Don't be intimidated. Step on inside. Not quite interesting enough to seek out but worth a stop if you are exploring Tsukiji and want to see more than the famous fish market.Recommended for:
