Awww yeaaaaaahhhh. Curry udon. It's located on the 3rd floor of Little Tokyo Plaza on Alameda. Not as famous as Monzo nearby, but I enjoyed it a lot more!

This is an excellent udon restaurant in typical Japanese fast food style. You order by number, add any extras, pay and pick up your food from the counter. The udon is made in-house and is fantastic, the broth flavorful but not over salted. I especially enjoyed the curry udon and mintaiko rice ball.Recommended for:Foodies

This little udon shop is located inside the Little Tokyo Shopping Center on the 2nd floor, just above Beard Papa’s. It is run cafeteria style so you order, pay, grab a seat, and pick up your food at the counter when it’s ready. The udon here is all made from scratch on site, so it’s just the perfect combination of chewy and soft. The broth is light and wholesome so a bowl of udon tastes like comfort food. You can choose one of the udon bowls already on the menu or make your own to have all the toppings you want. They also have rice balls and tempura dishes. Prices are decent, a little bit more than usual for udon, but for the quality I think it’s well worth it.
