The Wellness Tribe will find plenty to celebrate in Tucson, with its plethora of wellness focused resorts like the Miraval, with its spa facilities, healthy food and 'self-discovery' activities. Plus, Memorial Day sees fun athletic events like a ColorVibe 5k run, where you get painted as you race!

Great area in the middle of the desert. Hot and bike friendly. University town, so there is a large population of younger adults. Great time to visit in the end of summer when the lightning storms take over the sky and you can smell the rain coming for miles.

Tucson think American history... Cactus and and sand! Tucson is a southwestern cosmopolitan town. There are many reasons to come to Tucson, the University of Arizona which is highly regarded, there is a definite university feel around it with restaurants and activities; Tucson gem and mineral show, which brings 1000's of jewelers and rock hounds from all over the world in February; study of past and present culture, there is still a native american culture keeping sacred traditions alive and well. There are also a number of great restaurants and hotels in the thriving business district. Put all of this together with the beauty of the surrounding mountains and you have a beautiful city.

We went to Tucson on our way to the caverns. The city is very pleasant and has a Mexican vibe to it. Hot and dry were the other things that come to mind.

In the summer if it's too hot for you drive up to Mount Lemmon. The Desert museum is great, as well as the Mission, San Xavier del Bac. Tex-Mex food and great shopping too

This mission is one of the oldest in existence. It is beautiful in the evening as well as all day long. The history behind it makes a place worth visiting.

This is the most beautiful Mission you have ever seen. It is over 200 years old. It's said that only those of American Indian descent can be married in the Mission. Mass, however, is open to any Catholic. Plus they have tons of tourists from out of town and out of state all the time. If you visit, be sure to light a candle.

Great food, awesome people! Lots to do indoors or out day or night. I went during the summer so I did outdoor stuff early mornings and evenings when it was cooler. I Love siesta!
