I LOVED staying here!!! I attended a conference that was hosted at this JW Marriott and didn't expect much. But when the taxi pulled up to the HUGE resort, I was floored! Beautiful hotel with great restaurants and bars. I love the outdoor fire pits scattered around the patios. You definitely need to grab a cocktail in the evening and ...

The rooms here weren't quite as nice as those in the El Conquistador or the Omni, but they were good. The gigantic pool and towering water slide were great, though. The golf course also looked nice, and the views are remarkable. If you can get a solid discount, stay here.

The desert is not necessarily a place where one would seek ultimate comfort. Luckily if you place a four star Hilton Resort in the middle of one, well, this changes everything. The Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf and Tennis Resort is the ultimate get away no matter how old you are. Sadly, I did not get to experience the Golf ...

I didn't get to partake in any of the spa experiences here, sadly (I was visiting my cousin, who owns a house here ... tough life, eh?), but I did tour the grounds (impeccable) and eat at the restaurant, where I couldn't decide what was more exciting -- the healthy but tasty menu items or sitting next to Diana Ross.

Tuscon is usually not on top of every ones weekend getaway list. So when I was informed of our plans I just went with the flow without any expectations. The minute our taxi pulled up to the front door I was blown away. The grounds are beautiful and surrounded by majestic mountains and scenery. The lobby is inviting and very ...

Full of character! I believe that the rooms are in their original state from the 1930s (or at least made to look that way). Rotary phones and no television. I loved it, but my husband wasn't much of a fan. He prefers luxory to history. They have a cafe, a catering venue, a "tavern," a lobby bar AND a nightclub ...

Guests take treatments in one of six tents styled by Irish-born designer Clodagh. “For me, a tent evokes impermanence,” she says. “It reflects the impermanence of the spa treatment as well.” Set in a botanical garden shaded by paloverde trees, each of the tents has natural cleft-stone flooring, an acacia-wood bench, and walls made of saguaro and ocotillo cacti. Miraval ...

The three course breakfasts at the inn are fantastic. Over our three days there we had porridge with fresh fruit, polenta with home-made mango chutney, home-made apple cake, rice pudding with fresh fruit, and wonderful home-made chocolate chip muffins - all vegan. If you have to eat gluten-free, I'd especially recommend the inn, as they make sure that no one ...

Very nice rooms and grounds. The only thing that separates this hotel from other resorts we've stayed at in Tucson is that the Omni is slightly farther from the mountains, so it doesn't feel as "away from it all." Still, a very nice hotel.

Really contemporary small hotel. Love the rooms but don't think they're cleaned properly as I found old chipotle in my room's fridge. Located right next to the U of A but on the side farthest from the night life.

Walking into my room I'm thinking...is this a hotel room? Fireplace, living room, dining area, kitchenette, and get this...two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and THREE televisions! I'm thinking, this is perfect for families with children, or in my case, with my in laws. The free hot breakfast was a nice touch. Eggs, waffles, hot and cold cereal, and pastries, along ...

This DoubleTree is an older property, a 9 story hotel near Reid Park. However, they are in the midst of a remodeling campaign, and have updated the decor to a fresher, more modern appearance, with a mixture of soothing earth tones mixed with natural and bold geometric patterns. As at most DoubleTrees, they offer you a warm cookie when you ...
