    Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum

Prepare for an hour's drive and a good deal of walking but well worth it. They have a very nice cafe for lunch and a nice gift shop when you're finished touring the mostly outdoor museum. I recommend going early so you arrive at 8:30am when they open.

As a 2nd generation Tucson native I rank sabino canyon recreation area #1 on my " to do list" as it has multiple treasures located within as part of the Catalina mountain range. Take ample water, snacks, sunscreen, hat, etc. & let the fun begin. You can take the tram in to the heart & soul of the canyon & ...

Best view in Tucson! Great for photography and hiking. During the winter time there is also a ski resort at the top. There is a cookie cabin at the top which has a peach cobbler that will blow your mind. It is a definite must if you plan on visiting Mount Lemmon.

If you have any interest in old military aircraft, you need to visit this museum. (And even if you're not interested in old aircraft, you'll still probably find something to love about this place!) Inside several huge hangars and outside under the desert sky, there are an incredible number of aircraft. Most are from World War II, but there are ...

Worth the drive downtown, and when you're done, you can go to Mi Nidito on 4th Avenue for delicious and authentic Mexican food. My favorite Mexican restaurant in all of Tucson.

Love this school (I am a student here)! The campus is beautiful located right in the valley surrounded by the rocky mountains. The entire town evolves around the university. Great weather all year round and good eateries right off campus.

Pretty cool, they built Old Tucson as a Movie set, and used it for several old western movies. They have 'gunfights' in the streets, a few 'bar brawls' here and there and horses tied to the hitching posts in the streets.
