    Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum

    45 reviews

One of the top sonoran desert museums , this is a must see. My recommendation is that you get up extra early, have a good breakfast then head west of Tucson to this gem as the earlier you arrive the more wildlife you will actually be able to see as the temperatures are cooler in the am hours which is ...

    Sabino Canyon

One of the most beautiful hikes that I have ever been on! If you want to take it easy, just hop on the tram to the top of the Canyon (Seven Falls) and walk down, along the stream of running water.

    Mount Lemmon

    33 reviews

Best view in Tucson! Great for photography and hiking. During the winter time there is also a ski resort at the top. There is a cookie cabin at the top which has a peach cobbler that will blow your mind. It is a definite must if you plan on visiting Mount Lemmon.

    Saguaro National Park

    30 reviews

There are two Saguaro National Parks Both are spectacular but I prefer the eastside location. You can drive, bike, or hike the park as it's an 8-mile one way loop. This land is a preserve & is protected under U.S. wildlife laws guaranteing that all people present & future generations may enjoy for all time.

Worth the drive downtown, and when you're done, you can go to Mi Nidito on 4th Avenue for delicious and authentic Mexican food. My favorite Mexican restaurant in all of Tucson.

Tucson's "White Dove of the Desert" is also known as the "Sistine Chapel of the Southwest" due to the vibrant and magnificently decorated frescoes adorning the sanctuary's walls and ceiling. Don't miss the Mission during your visit to the greater Tucson region!

Love this mall. It's not too big so it's easy to shop and then go to one of the restaurants for lunch or dinner. They are all very very good, and RA is my favorite when I want sushi.

    Santa Catalina Mountains

    12 reviews

Entrance to the the Catalina Mountains is on the other side of Tucson so prepare for another hour's drive to get to the entrance and another 45 minutes getting to Summerhaven at the top. Beautiful scenery and lots of overlooks for pictures. A full service restaurant and a pizza place in Summerhaven so you don't leave hungry. Good hiking trails ...
