    Grom

Probably the most famous gelateria in Florence. Due to its popularity, you can expect to wait in line on a nice (or Friday/Saturday) night in the summertime. Its notoriety isn't undue, though. I definitely found myself struggling not to come every day I spent in Florence. It's not that the gelato is so much better than the second best gelato ...

    Ristorante Il Latini

The food here is incredible. You must taste the olive oil. There is a room in the wine cellar that is very cool for big parties. Wine bottles are scattered all over.

    Caffè Cibreo

Gorgeous little cafe in Santa Croce. The outdoor seating doesn't get the best views but the inside is stunning. Old school lovely with good coffee and desserts. One of the few cafes in Florence where you might be tempted to waste the day.

Perfect breakfast spot. Stand at the bar, enjoy a coffee and a brioche. Looks touristy but full of locals. A Florentine institution.

    Gelateria di Piazza

This is, officially, the best ice-cream in the World. In the loveliest little village in the World. There are so many crap, touristy gelaterias, this one is the real deal!

Wonderful place for a meal. They offer a wide menu with lovely pastas, soups and meat dishes made, of course, in a Tuscany spirit. Highly recommended!

Gelateria Dei Neri Di Vivoli Maurizio

WORST GELATO PLACE IN FLORENCE. Myself and a group of my friends came here one evening and the customer service was AWFUL. The women behind the counter were very rude and racist for no reason, very short, and just mind-blowingly mean and undeserving of the money we paid there that goes to their paycheck. Recommend any other gelato place besides ...

    L'Osteria Di Giovanni

Probably the best meal we had during our trip, a real experience! We were greeted with welcome prosecco and fried dough bits. The service was friendly and attentive. We shared the caprese salad (ruined for life!) and since we're light-eaters decided on two different pastas, a potato ravioli with mushrooms and a tortellini with basil, tomato and ricotta. The house ...

    Trattoria Mario

Went in with few expectations, left with a full stomach full of smiles. This is a family place and it feels like a Ragu commercial. Staff is friendly and can probably make any smile. Food is awesome, there's no fancy presentation - but who cares!

    Buca Lapi

Unbelievable! Best food we had in Florence by a long shot. This place was recommended by an Italian friend and did not disappoint. We had the hand made pasta with fresh fennel sausage (so good I almost wept) and the bisteak Florentine, which weighted nearly a pound, was beautifully prepared and delicious. Service was great, wine was great. We were ...
