The food took forever and the same music played constantly on an annoying loop but the food is AMAZING!!!! Hands down. I had the cracked lobster and daiquiri and it was delicious. Hubby had the snapper and that too was equally amazing. I will definitely go back to this place. If you want seafood, this is where you need to go. Just come with an empty stomach and leave happy!

Fish Fry in Nassau, Bahamas is to me the place to go for the freshest fried grouper and amazing, and I mean amazing conch fritters! OMG! Fish fry is a small strip just outside of Nassau, which consists of 6-10 restaurants and bars. Each restaurant is out of control with their conch fritters - they are fried until crispy but not oily at all. The dish has tons of conch and not just breading served with a simple but flavorful dipping sauce (which to me adds a special touch with the spiciness). I loved them so much that I was willing to sneak them back to the US and bribe customs with only the crumbs (if there were any). The food is to die for and worth the trip to the Bahamas just the fritters!

The "Fish Fry" is a popular local hangout and favorite option for those looking for authentic Bahamian dishes. There are 2 locations on the same strip - I can't recall which one we ate at! It's the one to the far right if that helps. I had the Grilled Snapper with rice and peas and plantain and it was fantastic. The Snapper was so flavorful and perfectly seasoned. My FIL had the Grouper Fingers (also good) and my husband had the Cracked Conch. Everyone was happy!
The owner came out to introduce himself which was nice. A sure bet!
