Cheap, fun and delicious. Everything wonderful you could possibly expect from a typical Mexican restaurant. A favorite hangout spot for birthday dinners with big groups of friends. You cannot go wrong with their margaritas!

When you are from Texas and you need a Tex-mex fix, this is your spot. They are a cousin property of Pappasitos in the South and I'm always happy with the fresh food and drinks. Try the ceviche royal... It's off the hook! Best margaritas too!

The worst food I've ever had in Chicago. I would say it was the worst Mexican food but since there wasn't one bit of Mexican flavor in it, that doesn't seem accurate. Could have opened a can of refried beans and eaten them cold out of the can and it would have been more satisfying that Uncle Julio's Service was fine.

Uncle Julio's is great Mexican food and is always packed. They make their own tortillas in a machine that most of the dining room can see. The frog legs are a bit tough, but everything else is really good.
