I went shopping at Uniqlo once when I lived in New York and I still have the shirt that I bought there. This is fashionable stuff for guys that's a bit more masculine than what you find at H&M.

One of the few Uniqlo stores in the US. The shirts are all made in Japan, so the sizes might run a bit small. I love that they have One Piece shirts here, and their "thermatec" clothing is light and warm.

I'm unsure why a chain store is a place worth a review, to be honest (it's akin to an olive garden review for a restaurant). Regardless, I suppose that I like the store, it's like a better Gap for Gap prices. I think it may be a Japanese chain, as well, if that helps someone somehow.

Basics from one of Japan's leading retailers. The +J line done in collaboration with Jil Sander is worth checking out and this is one of the few places in the US where you can buy it. Prices are extremely reasonable and the quality is relatively good.. especially for the price point.

This is a great clothing store that has a Japanese influence. Their items are fashionable and classic pieces for a reasonable price. You can get comfy cashmere sweaters on sale for $50-60.

Uniqlo is one of my favorite stores, if you're unfamiliar it's essentially a Japanese better quality H&M. Their sekvedge raw denim at $40 a pop is a steal to be honest.
Because it's in SoHo, this store is always packed, so waiting to pay for things can be tiresome. My little tip is that there's a cashier in the basement level that usually isn't as packed, try there first before anything.
