    Wagamama (Streatham St)

    35 reviews

This London chain does Asian food. It's not bad, it's not expensive, but overall, it's not worth a special trip. There are too many great restaurants in London to bother with spending pounds sterling and time here.

    Veeraswamy

Amazing, authentic northern Indian in an upscale restaurant near Picadilly. We tried a lot of Indian places in London, and this was definitely one of our favorites.

    The Churchill Arms

    5 reviews

One of the best places in London for real ale and Thai food. Get in there on a cold, wintery night and get a seat next to the open fire.

    Abeno Too

    5 reviews

Best Okonomiyaki in London, creative menu, nice sake, attractive crowd and you get to store your coat inside the box that is your bench (pretty much guaranteeing that nobody's getting away with your belongings while you dine).

    Wagamama (Covent Garden)

When you're trekking around the city en famille, the dependability and affordability of chain restaurants take on a new allure. What a relief that London features some chain restaurants that go a cut above with fresh food that's healthy and not boring. Jen Howze of Britmums recommends Wagamama.

    Itsu - Regent Street

Itsux. The fish in the sushi has probably never even touched the sea. Even its convenience to the office won't tempt me to make the fatal error of stepping in again. The Japan Centre next door is just as bad.

    Itsu - Finsbury Square

When in London and I want a quick bite of sushi i will always head to Itsu. Now a chain, you can find them all over London. Conveyor belt style sushi. Their sushi is good and love their creme brulee. Also scene of one of the spy assassinations of modern time. Polonium was dropped in the Russian spy's sushi!!! Makes ...

    Samarqand

An amazing experience. There are only 3 places you can get good Uzbek food. Russia, London and of course Uzbekistan. Not being a fan of Russia, I find I can still eat great authentic food right here in London. Only one of many great ‘Ethnic’ restaurants in London.

Grand Imperial London at The Grosvenor Hotel

    2 reviews

Simon Burrell of Our Man on the Ground recommends the Grand Imperial, "This has got to be one of the best Chinese restaurants in London, from the impeccable service to the quality of the dishes and presentation. A visit to Grand Imperial in Victoria will be a memorable experience for all the right reasons!”

    Great Eastern Dining Room

    3 reviews

Yummy asian dishes, if a bit over-priced for what you're getting. The atmosphere and location in Shoreditch close to endless places to grab post-dinner cocktails may make up for the inflated menu prices. Can't say there was a bad thing on the menu - everything was solid and the drinks were delicious - just be prepared to shell out the ...

Red Hot World Buffet & Bar

    3 reviews

Love this place, especially great for eating out with children as they can have a real mix of things and u don't mind if they don't eat it all and can offer them something else :) I wouldn't say the quality is amazing but it's good and what do you expect for the quantity available!

    Nam Long Le Shaker

    2 reviews

Speciality in Cocktails. "Prince Harry, Hugh Grant, the Stones", the bartender sure did some name dropping while talking to us. Music is costes and such. Bartender kind of wished there were djs, but apparently the owner does not want to change a thing.

    Cafe Spice Namaste

The Yuppie, with his 'eat everything that's meat' palette, enjoyed this more than the Hippie, who mistakenly bit into some venison and has never been the same since. But the service is stellar, the spiciness of the food is authentic and on point, and the overall verdict is: we'd definitely eat here again.
