    La Fromagerie

    8 reviews

This is an epic cheese shop that stocks a wide range of European goodies. Stuff you can't get in the US (would never pass ridiculous health & safety regulations here). Really amazing place to stock up on stinky cheese and even grab brunch or lunch at their picnic tables in the back.

    Bistrotheque

    4.5
    5 reviews

A restaurant, a bar, or a performance space? Why choose one when you can have all three. Bistrotheque somehow feels upscale and alternative at the same time, and is one of the best places to grab dinner, a pint, or watch a cabaret show. Although this is not an exclusively gay destination, the place is always swarming with homos. It’s ...

    The Thomas Cubitt

A wonderfully designed gastro pub in Belgravia. Elegant, yet casual. Upstairs restuarant has more thoughtful British cuisine. Downstairs is a more casual pub with light snacks.

Amazing wine bar built in a building which used to hold a bank. The basement opens to a garden area and has multiple smaller vaults which provide plenty of small/medium spaces for quiet chat and privacy. Fantastic for small groups and dates. Possibly my favourite London find to date.

    Leo's Beanery

Great little place down some stairs to get some really good coffee and tea along with a carefully chosen menu of just plain good stuff. I had the spiced chai which did not come out of a can or box (hooray!) but had real tea and real spices that I had to filter out before drinking. Also had a delicious ...

A fantastic little tea room with a pleasing atmosphere and generally polite and helpful staff. The food is freshly prepared and tasty (I highly recommend the prawn sandwiches!) and there is a selection of home made cakes for you to be tempted by. Not only that but there is a shelving unit that runs the length of the right hand ...

    Les Trois Garcons

Now usually when you step into a place where there decor is as OTT as here, the suspicion builds that the food is going to be a bit rubbish. Occupying a former pub in a formerly down-on-its-luck but now achingly-hip part of London, the place is 1920s Paris bordello meets writing den for the Surrealist Manifesto. So to the menu, ...

Cafe Laville sits right over Regent's Canal and is a popular spot on Little Venice to Camden walks. Though they serve meals, it's more of a place to sit down for a spot of tea and enjoy great views of the canal.
