    The Spaniards Inn

Spaniards Road, Hampstead, London NW3 7JJ

Convenient spot for a quick bite or drink if out for a stroll on Hampstead Heath. Neither what's on offer or building itself gets me raving though. Both mediocre.

My office has had its Christmas party here for the past few years, and this year was my first. I was very impressed. The service was top notch - very attentive and professional. I loved all three courses: scallops with Jerusalem artichoke puree, a beautifully cooked medium rare steak, and a hot apple cranberry crumble with ice cream. The wine ...

    4 reviews

This pub (which happens to be my local) is normally PACKED on weekday evenings, but is a great place to grab a spot of dinner if you can get there early enough. They've got amazing burgers, bangers and mash, and my favourite Hoegaarden on tap. They've also got milkshakes and other american-style goodies on the menu, which is a bit ...

The Botanist is an upscale restaurant looking out onto Sloane Square. My favorite thing there is high tea. The atmosphere is modern but classic, the tea delicate and delicious, and the cakes likewise. Order one high tea to feed 2-3 people (unless you're really hungry.)

Great pub with a menu that usually delivers. Mix the food with a top notch wine list and a good selection of local ales and lagers, throw in a splash of vibrant atmosphere and your Sunday afternoon is sorted.

Beautiful ambiance, like old school meets vintage chic. The space is so airy and open yet comfortable and cozy at the same time. The cocktail list is quite unique and the selection is reflective of the space's design. I especially appreciate their option of letting you bring your own food to eat there while enjoying their drinks. There are so ...

Popular and convenient Gastropub near the Backs. Good food, respectable merlot and excellent beer and ale. Often crowded, possibly because it has parking. They have gone up in my estimation considerably for their willingness to get a late party license at short notice. Great customer service!

My favorite Bloomsbury haunt. More than one relationship of more than one kind started here. Great beers, fabulous food (they do a really good burger and chips with Scottish beef) and lovely, Victorian fixtures and ambience. Just fun all around.

Friendly staff, pretty good food. The atmosphere is fairly traditional, but the clientele is vey mixed. It's a nice place for lunch or after work drinks - but don't be surprised if you have to stand on a Friday night!
