- 1Town Hall Hotel, Patriot Square, London, Greater London E2 9NF
This restaurant is an incredible fusion of asian flavors like Thai and Japanese with Chef Nuno's roots growing up on a farm in Portugal. A creative and innovative take on melding cuisines, I was blown away by all of the thrilling combinations. Highlight: Yuzu-flavored crab cannelloni in a sheet of spiced milk, and garnished with tobiko and basil purée.Popular with
- 237 Trumpington Street, Cambridge, United Kingdom7 reviews
Upscale seafood restaurant that also sells fresh seafood. Have had some great meals here and some mediocre ones. Dinner is better than lunch. Wine is seriously overpriced. Avoid amateur night(s), as Friday and Saturday seem especially hopeless service wise...Popular with

Poppies Fish & Chips in East London looks like the inside of a really cool English ship. (Think Pirate Radio, if you've ever seen that movie.) It's a really kitschy and cool looking place. I enjoyed the Cockney Rhyming Slang painted on the walls. The fish is delicious, but the chips could be better. I'd go just for the way ...Popular with
- 420 Mount Street, London W1K 2HE
The atmosphere may be a bit stiff but Scott's serves up excellent seafood in a very pleasant brasserie setting. Definitely a bit of a scene for a weekend brunch. Tables are hard to come by and prices are high but worth the indulgence (and splurging a bit on a bottle of champagne).
- 666-70 Brewer Street, London W1F 9UP
This restaurant in Soho is a delicious mix of Mark Hix's eclectic take on seasonal British cuisine. The pri fix menu makes the price very reasonable for great dining in London but be careful because the cocktails are so delicious that your bar tab might surpass the cost of dinner.

As far as I can tell the essential difference between J. Sheekey and its neighbouring Oyster Bar is that the Oyster Bar doesn't employ anyone specifically to open the door for you. Dispensing with the outward formalities effectively makes Sheekey's oyster off-shoot the restaurant equivalent of a capsule range. A discreetly labelled, tightly commercial and considered representation of everything that's ...Popular with

The gourmet burger trend is alive and well in London. What makes Burger & Lobster a treat is the addition of the grilled and steamed lobster. They only serve three dishes: lobster, lobster roll, and burger. They all cost 20 pounds. I've heard the burger isn't worth the cost, but the lobster sure is. It's huge! A lobster comes with ...Popular with

We did not stay at Brown's Hotel, but instead visited for Afternoon Tea and it was AMAZING. We arrived early and had cocktails in the bar, which were equally as delicious, and were seated on a comfy sofa for tea. There are unlimited refills on tea, as well as a great sandwich/scone/dessert tray. The staff was so friendly and always ...

- 168 Tooting Bec Road, Tooting, London, United Kingdom
Hiding away in Wimbledon Village this restaurant has made it a while - for an area where the food has to be a high standard with service and atmosphere to match. Somewhat high end this light and airy restaurant is a quiet calm relaxed place to dine with friends or for a romantic evening out. The food is presented exquisitely ...Popular with
- 18Kishorn, Strathcarron Ross-shire Scotland IV54 8XA
Popular because it's so fresh & so cheap! Kishorn looks like a wooden hut but it sells loads of fresh, local seafood served simply (Oysters, Mussels, Prawns, Scallops, Crabs & Lobster). Only open Apr-Nov but very popular. www.kishornseafoodbar.co.uk
- 20Colbost, Dunvegan, Isle of Skye, Highlands IV55 8ZT, United Kingdom
One of the very best food experiences you will ever have, period. Located on The Isle of Skye in one of the most remote and beautiful corners of Scotland, Three Chimneys has been referred to as the "French Laundry of Scotland" (referencing the world famous California restaurant). The food is creative and modern but still reflects traditional Scottish cuisine. In ...
