Dating back to the 15th century, the Manchester Cathedral has experienced quite a bit of history! After Henry VIII broke away from the Roman Catholic Church, the Cathedral's riches were confiscated. This is one of the best pre-club places to go to in London just by China Town. It's lively with the younger audience every weekend and certainly a pre-GAY meeting place. The bar staff are hot - hot - hot! And you're sure to meet some lovely people here. This is a definite!

    Spitalfields

    3 reviews

Spitalfields is in east end London, near Liverpool Street station and Brick Lane. It is shaking off the association as a lower economic area and becoming a great place to shop and eat where the prices are reasonable and the quality often high. There are many markets including the historic Old Spitalfields Market, founded in the 17th century, Sunday UpMarket, ...

    The Hawley Arms

2 Castlehaven Road, Primrose Hill, London, United Kingdom

One of my favorite pubs in Camden. It's the old hang out to Amy Winehouse (which is noticeable in the women's bathroom graffiti). It has the classic punk/edgy/rocker vibe that so well defines Camden. Great place for a pint, good music, and to catch up with friends.

An interesting morning to just observe or have a good bargain on new items ranging from socks to kitchen utensils. It's one of my favourite haunts and especially in summer this place thrives on the corner of these quiet Soho back streets. Apart from the black cabs that budge you out the way, summer evenings are very socialable generally every evening of the week. It is a bit pricey, but it's prime location for meeting people.
