Our top choice for a trendy luxury hotel. The staff treats each client like a valued guest, and the hip clientele feels right at home. You're just steps away from the MoMA (Museum of Modern Art), Union Square, and many of the city's top attractions. (If you'd like to go further afield, just ask for a personal ride in their ...

The butler service alone would qualify the St. Regis into our favorite San Francisco luxury hotels list. Add on to that an infinity pool, luxurious spa, several restaurants, and top-notch customer service, and you've got one of the classiest hotels in all of California. The excellent room decor is only matched by their seamless technological additions (control your room through ...

Excellent! - 89% of guests recommend

As a kid growing up, I always referred to this hotel as "the one with the cool sky". HA! To this day, I still call it just that. If you're a first timer and just losing your V(egas)irginity, you have to go to one of the shows located in the symposium. It's expanded a great deal since my childhood; there's ...

I've never stayed at the Hotel Del, but I've been there plenty of times. If you're in San Diego, do not miss this place. It's iconic. And don't forget to look at the tower. If you're lucky you'll see the ghost of the girl who jumped out of that room.

    Palace Hotel

    Class:

When an entire book has been written about a single hotel, you know the place has got some serious historical clout. From Amelia Earhart and Kevin Bacon to Woodrow Wilson and Hillary Clinton, the list of visiting dignitaries is a who's who of modern history. Brunch or afternoon tea in the marble column and glass-domed Garden Court has been a ...

Hard to believe it has been fifty years since Tony Bennett first introduced his beautiful song, I Left My Heart In San Francisco. But after my experience last week at InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco, I can definitely understand why Bennett chose to sing the song in the first place. While there is something so unique and romantic about the ...

    Marriott Marina San Diego

    Class:

I confess the Marriott is my favorite hotel brand anyway, but this particular Marriott is at the top of the list. The location is stunning right on the bay, so views are spectacular, and the convenient access to the trendy Gaslamp Quarter, the San Diego Convention Center, the trolley, downtown San Diego, and tons of restaurants and bars makes this ...

    Sheraton Waikiki

    Class:

Good! - 79% of guests recommend

I have stayed at this HUGE hotel many times. It has recently been renovated so the rooms are comfortable and a bit more modern. What the hotel also did was extend out a pool on Waikiki Beach. The pool was a good idea but now the hotel has almost no existing beach in front of it.

Oooooh la la Vegas just got a bit sexier. While every new hotel in Vegas is getting bigger and grander, Cosmo is keeping it classy. This place is very boutique hotel feeling, more intimate and sexy. Heard the hotel was originally suppose to be private property condos, so the rooms still have the home like feel. Walking into your suite ...

The Rosewood is by far the nicest hotel in the Palo Alto area. It has spectacular views of the hills, a great bar, restaurant and pool area, and the service is top notch. Its in the middle of nowhere, though, near the VCs on Sand Hill but not much else, so don't expect to go out to dinner without a ...

    Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco

    Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco

    Class:
    12 reviews
Excellent! - 89% of guests recommend

Four Seasons SF delivers (generally) Fourseasons service. Front of house operation is very consistent. The rooms, although clean and comfortable, feel stark and plain (less posh, more utilitarian), which is a deviation from other Fourseasons. Perhaps it is due to the SF location's gearing towards business traveller as opposed to resort/vacation makers. The restaurant is great and the bar is ...

GORGEOUS. I didn't know about this hotel until my recent trip to SF. We had a city view from our room and let me tell you -- it made me fall in love with SF all over again. Service was great and the lobby had a lounge that looked pretty busy. I would definitely stay here again!
