I just end up here every time I'm in Santa Monica. It's all reliably good and healthy and I swear every time I'm in there I see Julia Roberts, or at least someone who looks a lot like her, and lots of attractive people who either are famous, or definitely should be famous. And hey, that makes my excellent cappuccino even better.

Great cafe to go to. The only negative thing about it is that it's getting very popular so it's usually crowded. A large variety of coffee and tea drinks and an eclectic selection of food.

    **DAMN GOOD COFFEE. PERIOD.**

For the record, I normally don't drink coffee.

But I have been lacking sleep during my travels.

So I ordered the Spanish Latté Granita ($4.75), their most famous blended ice drink, however instead of an ice drink, they made it into a regular hot beverage.

Still, it was creamy and sweet and it hit the spot.

    IT WAS GOOD.

To-go line was quick on a Saturday morning.

There was a long line for brunch.

WILL RETURN for the food. And another cup of coffee.

    RECOMMEND.

Saw this listed on the Gogobot Travelers' Favorite Awards & had to check it out. The food, the coffee, the preparation, the care & EVERYTHING else truly made this one of the most memorable breakfast experiences. The Spanish latte, pictured above, really does take you back to the kind of java beverages sold in Madrid cafes (even thought the menu made a point of mentioning Barcelona) & the food, from the fresh baked bread to the perfectly cooked eggs to the sticky bun - I can't wait to return.

Love the Santa Monica location. Great soups, sandwiches, dessert, coffee and tea with great atmosphere. I still find myself going back here whenever I'm in the area.

This popular coffee house is perfect for coffee and light meals! The coffee is probably the best in town; the pastries, sandwiches and breakfast are mostly prepared with organic products and are absolutely delicious. Service is often inattentive and slow.

Very busy and crowded place, but I guess there is a good reason for that. Urth has GREAT coffee and a huge variety of tea. Most of the ingredients in the food and drinks are organic and it's not very pricy.

My favorite cafe on the west side. Amazing espresso drinks served in big cups, mind blowing pastries and sweets, great sandwiches. The egg sandwich for breakfast, on fresh baked bread with avocado and cheese is my favorite - I get it every time I go to L.A. The bread pudding is also mind-blowingly good. The seating is all open air, so if you are there on a chilly morning, bring a jacket so you are not cold.

Go explore Main Street and eat at the ever so popular Urth Caffe. Here is where you will find the best boba's in town. Just ask my kids!

great food and fantastic customer service! This place is really popular so it will be a challenge to find a seat; however the cashiers and greeters are really helpful in finding seats for you. definitely try the tostada....definitely a favorite! the only drawback is that it is overpriced.

This place is amazing! I always bring out of town guests to enjoy some Urth whether it's for a meal or just dessert.

I love the grilled cilantro chicken pesto sandwich as well as the salad option if you want more greens. And the green tea boba (blended) is my favorite drink by far!

Like every other Urth Caffe, this one sports long lines and delicious pastries. Parking is difficult due to the area but the area is busy and it's a great place to sit down and chat while you people watch. The small patio area with fountain at this location is also very pleasant and provides a little more privacy from the street.

Definitely one of my favorite cafes in Los Angeles. The japanese green tea latte is my favorite drink there.

Nice, intimate place to take a small group of close friends (or your significant other) for some conversation over caffeine.

Have to give this place 5 stars despite the craziness of the ordering line. Dining in line intersects with the take away line. After placing your order at the counter, there is someone available to seat you. Had lunch here with 5 other people. Everthing that was ordered was fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. This is an orgainc cafe. We all enjoyed our meals and the desserts were incredible, New York style cheese cake was one of the best I have ever had.

A great coffee spot, with a nice selection of breakfast lunch and dinner that is mostly organic and local. Awesome smoothies if you are looking for a post beach treat.
