A great place for a little quiet time, the USBG has some 60,000 plants for exhibition, conservation and institutional exchange.

This garden is between the National Capitol and the National Indians Museum. It house some the rare plants around the county put them on display. It’s fully accessible and will need about 1 hour.

Beautiful Place to visit. I like to visit here because when I am at Botanic garden i feel like I am not in the city. You can be in Hawaii, Desert or tropical it is your choice while you are real in the middle of the city next to US Capitol building.

Not too big, but a wonderful place to visit during the dead of winter, when all you want to see are some flowering plants and feel a bit of warmth.

The Botanic Garden is pretty nice, and it has free admission. In the summer it might actually be hotter in there. In the winter it's a great place to escape the cold!

A really great place to take some macro photography of flowers and plants. Be sure to check out the stinky Corpse Flower.

The garden is a wonderful escape from the city atmosphere and is conveniently located on the grounds of the United States Capitol with the main building residing on the National Mall. The garden includes a conservatory, park and production facility. Each of these areas houses different plants and flowers that visitors can enjoy. The conservatory alone is home to 12 unique habitats which house varying species of flower.
