Rasika is DC's version of high-end Indian food. It's very popular and the sister location in the West End is equally as busy. The restaurant is located near the Verizon Center and stays full. You can pop in, but it's definitely best to make a reservation.

Oyamel is a Spanish-influenced tapas restaurant. we had their guacamole and some mini tacos, but the thing that impressed me the most was their hearts of palm salad, which contained julienned hearts of palm, radish, orange, grapefruit, and avocado with a tamarind dressing. SO GOOD. We also ordered dessert. We couldn't get enough.

Dinner was great. We shared the guacamole and had drinks to start - enjoyed the white wine Rosa sangria. I had the shrimp brochettes for dinner and the shrimp were so plump and delicious. A friend had the red snapper, which I might order next time, and the mixed grill, which looked perfect for a meat lover. For dessert I ...

I enjoyed this! My boyfriend and I decided to try it out and we were both pleased. There's almost too many toppings to choose from, which is why my boyfriend ended up getting one of their non-custom salads. I did the custom route. They had pretty much any topping I ever want on a salad, and tons of types of ...

Great Irish pub, not kitschy just good Irish food and cider. They have Magners/Bulmers and that should be all people who love Irish pubs need to know.
