Delicious shabu shabu restaurant in the heart of ktown. There isn't much parking right in front, but there's a lot in the garage on the bottom. The veggies are unlimited and the meats are all around $25 a person. The meat was pretty good. I would come back!
Great park by the la city hall. In the summer, they hold a lot of public events, festivals and meets up on the lawns. I came here for the grand central block party for July 4th weekend and was pleasantly surprised at how stress free and efficient the layout of a free concert was on the see grounds!
Quaint little whiskey bar in the heart of little Tokyo. They specialize in Japanese whiskeys. The bartenders are helpful and friendly. They don't serve food here (outside of a few Japanese snacks), so don't expect to have a meal here. Great place for whiskey lovers - make a trip here!
Great brunch spot with tasty specials and amazing omlettes! The artichoke omelette with ricotta cheese was incredible as well as the hash browns and apple cinnamon pancakes! Great place for a Sunday brunch!
Very healthy restaurant, but the food is a bit bland. Also, the price is pretty high for what you are getting. However, for the health conscious this is the place to visit in dt Beverly!
Classy speakeasy in Hollywood with a 1920s vibe serving old school cockatiels and appetizers. Make sure you look up the password for the night on their site to get in and better yet make a reservation! You can't miss the entrance with the doorman and his black tux and white gloves!
Fantastic brunch spot in Loz feliz. The bread pudding and omlettes are all ginormous and tasty. You can probably share a plate. The service is great as well!
Eco friendly bowling ally deep in the heart of Torrance. The alley is a bit old, but has an old arcade like character. Perfect for kids bday parties and corporate events.
Love the Phoenix dessert chain! Glad they opened one in the southbay. Their Chinese dessert soups, drinks and fresh fruit mochi balls are so good. Make a stop here if you're in the area!
Finally got a chance to try the famous maruhide uni club in the South Bay! The Santa Barbara uni is incredibly fresh daily from Santa Barbara with no added perspectives and msg! I got the lunch special uni salmon and yellowtail bowl for $18.99. Practically half the bowl was topped with uni and it even came with uni egg omelette and uni soup! If you love uni you'll be in ini heaven here!
Korean French fusion bakery with the most delicious cakes! They are as soft as clouds and super light and not too sweet. The garlic croissants are my favorite! Must try and make a trip here!
One of the best Chinese bakeries I've ever had. The taro bread is to die for. It literally melts in your mouth. Best eaten fresh, but still lasts for a couple of days.
Great Cantonese Resturaunt in the heart of Cupertino. The chef specialty - egg tofu over steamed milk dish was incredible and the presentation made it even better. The hot pots are all tasty - not too salty and they give sweet soup dessert at the end of your meal to add a cherry on top!
One of my new favorite Japanese restaurants in the area. They have everything from sushi (try the uni scallop carpaccio) to Japanese style pizzas and clay pot rices with a Japanese twist. It's hard to get a seat here, so make a reservation early!
The lunch specials are adorable and great at akasaka! I got the chirashi bowl and they have huge pieces of sashimi. The fish was fresh and the service was quick!
Excellent shanghainese food - best spring rolls I've ever had. The rice cake soup and pork shank dishes are to die for. The dishes are big, so bring a group to share!
