As Barbadian as it gets. Mingle with residents and visitors at the fishing harbour in Oistins; great plate of fresh sea-food with the trimmings at little cost, some cold Banks beer.....all good! Can get a bit busy at weekends, but a must-do.
Rebuilt when the West Indies hosted the cricket workd cup in 2007; even the orientation of the pitch was changed!. Excellent facilities, a great stadium for enjoying your cricket. 'The Beach' area of the stadium is a great Caribbean 'lime' (chill out)....more
My favourite beach, rent a chair for a few Barbados dollars a day. Good swimming, shade, great choice of Bajan food from vendors, kiosks and nearby restaurants. Showers to wash off the sand, and free parking available.

Well presented and spectacular - underground Barbados. Safe, great visuals......something different...and you can finally learn which one is from roof to floor...and the other way round....(stalagtities and stalagmites).
Must see piece of religious and educational history; fine stone buildings and east coast views once you have driven down the avenue lined by magnificent Royal Palms. And you will often find a hard-fought game of cricket being played in the field nearby....more
