Budapest is a beautiful city full of rich history and amazing architecture. It's got some really interesting buildings and loads to see around the city. The local food is hearty and filling and you can't go wrong with the Polinka and nightlife either....more
This is one of my favourite works of architecture because it is engraved with all the names of the labourers who were involved in the building. If you're crossing between Buda and Pest and want a pleasant walk this is the way to do it and also see some amazing work....more
Stayed here on a tight budget and it was really good value for money. Really well located and loads of information for things to do in the area. Rooms were a lot better than we expected and the facilities are basic, but nice.
Really nice little restaurant/cafe. If you're sitting outside on a colder day theres blankets around the chairs to put round you, which is nice as it's a shame to miss out on fresh air. Some really nice Hungarian dishes. I had the beef stew (cheapest thing on the menu) and it filled me up...more
Really grand and unique to a lot of palace's you see around Europe. We went when there was a wine festival on, there are some amazing views over the whole of Buda and Pest and the whole scene is luxurious.
