If you like classical performances (opera, ballet) – go to Teatro Colon. It would probably be an unforgettable experience. The place was closing for renovations when we were there, so there were no any performances. But we were able to take a tour – beautiful architecture and interesting history....more
Anyone visiting Buenos Aires should try to go to a tango show (besides seeing tango on the streets). La Boca is a working-class neighborhood, but its colorful buildings, street tango and good restaurants make it a place to visit while you are in BA… Stick to the main street/area (to be on a safe side).
